When you have rejected an alternate date proposed by a Resource and now you need to assign a different Resource to the task

Step-by-step guide

Go to the task details page
Click on the 'Edit' button
In the task 'edit' page select a different Resource from the drop down list
Note: if you need to assign a new resource use Assign Task to a New Resource
Then click 'Save'

The task will now be at status 'requested' and move to the requested task list. The new resource will be sent an email to accept the task.
