It is very important to understand the implications of changing a suppliers email address in ClickHome when they are already linked to JobFile.

 

All of the suppliers tasks are linked to JobFile via their email addressaddresses.

If their a suppliers email address is changed in ClickHome it will not change in JobFile, instead it will think this is create a new supplier and send through their tasks to another new account.

 

If the supplier wishes to merge both email addresses into the one account they can, see here for assistance with this.

Otherwise the supplier will have to register another account with the new email address and they will see their new tasks in this account.

 

NOTE: it is important to leave the 'JobFile ID' field alone, if their email address does change only change the 'Email' field, the JobFile ID field will update automatically.
